Drag You to the Mountain

Sentul, Tibet. Some Things in Between.

Reflections, Recollections and Realisations
Along the Way to Mount Kailash.

Mount Kailash in Tibet wasn't the plan.

He planned to eat lunch at 11 am before the crowd arrived, work 300 metres from home, and maintain what he calls selective energy.
He had built an adult life around these principles and they had served him well.

Then his wife said yes before he had decided whether to ask.

Drag You to the Mountain is the memoir of a reluctant pilgrim who went anyway – and of everything that had to happen, across decades of one specific Malaysian Indian life, before the mountain made any sense at all.

WHAT THE BOOK IS

This is not a travel book. It is not quite a spiritual memoir either. It is the story of a man who stopped resisting and what it turned out to mean.

Honest in the places that count. And funnier than it has any right to be.
